Kākano asks us to look inwards at our place in Te Ao, reminding us that no matter what we are going through or what is happening - we will never be lost. We are tangata whenua.

It is a piece that was and has become a catalyst for my own journey into Te Ao Māori - drawn in hopeful emotion, he tangata always in search.
