Community Use Licence ​

​

OVERVIEW

A Community Use License “Licence” is available for eligible not-for-profit organizations for permission to download, print and use the colouring books created by Christine Rena for their own internal programmes and activities. The License provides unlimited access to all colouring books available during the active licence period of 12 months, together with access to any new colouring books released while the Licence remains current. A Community Use Licence is $249NZD per year.

ELIGABILITY

This Licence is available to:

  • Registered charities

  • Incorporated not-for-profit organisations

  • Community groups

  • Schools and educational providers

  • Hospitals, healthcare providers and therapy services

  • Libraries

  • Government-funded community services

Commercial businesses are not eligible for this Licence unless separate written permission is granted by Christine.

LICENCE TERM AND RENEWAL

The Licence is valid for 12 months from the date payment is received. Approximately one month before the Licence expires, Christine Rena Artist will issue a renewal invoice for the following 12-month licence period. The Licence will renew upon payment of the renewal invoice. If payment is not received by the expiry date, the Licence will automatically lapse.

LICENCE RIGHTS

While the Licence is active, your organisation may:

  • Download all colouring books included in the collection.

  • Download all new colouring books released during the Licence period.

  • Print unlimited copies for use within your organisation.

  • Use the colouring books in therapy sessions, wellbeing programmes, classrooms, community events, workshops and activity groups.

  • Provide printed copies to participants attending your organisation's activities.

  • Store digital copies for internal organisational use while the Licence remains active.

  • Create an internal cover sheet to act as the front page of colouring books.

 

There is no limit to the number of participants or printed copies produced during the active Licence period.

INTERNAL USE ONLY

This Licence permits use by the licensed organisation, including its employees, volunteers and contractors acting on its behalf. The Licence does not extend to affiliated organisations, partner organisations, branches operating as separate legal entities, or any other third party. Each organisation must hold its own current Licence.

RESTRICTIONS

This Licence does not permit your organisation to:

  • Sell the colouring books or printed copies.

  • Share, distribute or provide the digital files to any other organisation or individual outside your organisation.

  • Upload the digital files to public websites, file-sharing services or cloud storage where they are accessible by others.

  • Transfer or sublicense the Licence.

  • Remove or alter copyright notices.

  • Modify the artwork for resale or redistribution.

  • Claim ownership of the artwork or colouring books.

  • Include the colouring books in products or resources offered for sales or giveaways.

COPYRIGHT

All colouring books, artwork, illustrations and designs remain the intellectual property of Christine Rena Artist and are protected by copyright. This Licence grants permission to use the materials only as outlined in these terms. No ownership or copyright is transferred.

NEW COLORING BOOKS

During the active Licence period, Christine Rena Artist will notify the licensed organisation by email whenever new colouring books become available. The organisation may download and use all new colouring books released during its active Licence period at no additional charge. Access to new colouring books released after the Licence expires is available only upon renewal.

EXPIRY OF LICENCE

If the Licence is not renewed:

  • Your organisation may continue to use any printed copies produced while the Licence was active.

  • Your organisation must not print any additional copies of the colouring books after the Licence expires.

  • Your organisation must not download new colouring books or access future releases until the Licence is renewed.

  • Digital files may be retained for record-keeping purposes only and must not be used to produce additional printed copies unless the Licence is renewed.

  • Renewal reinstates the organisation's right to print and access all colouring books included in the current licence collection.

TERMINATION

Christine Rena Artist may terminate this Licence immediately if these terms are breached.

 

Unauthorised sharing, resale or distribution of the digital files will automatically terminate the Licence.

 

Termination does not affect Christine Rena Artist's right to pursue any other legal remedies available under copyright law.

​

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The colouring books are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Christine Rena shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from their use.
