When Joyce came to me with her vision of creating a tarot deck infused with Te Ao Māori and bridging a gap between two like minded and soulful spiritual worlds I was on board without hesitation.
We did a full sent of Major and Minor Arcana with the Minor cards sticking close to home in terms of the wairua of the original Rider Waite deck and the Major Arcana exploring the depths of Te Ao Māori.
As often happens my own life started to mirror whatever set of cards I was working on - or perhaps I started working on those cards because of how they were reflective of my current journey.
Either way creating this deck was a deeply profound and personal experience as well as a TON of fun, aroha and shared kōrero.
