Hinemoana is an ocean goddess whose children are the ancestors of many sea creatures. She is wild, mysterious and fierce. When you see waves lapping at the shore know that it is Hinemoana who sends them to bite in the body of Papatūānuku (Earth Mother) in retaliation for ancient discord. This act is called 'Te Ngaunga a Hinemoa' - The gnawing of Hinemoana.

Painted with artist quality acrylics on premium 100% cotton duck canvas stretched on kiln dried bars and primed with gesso.
All of my work is produced with great attention to the concept and/or message I want to convey, the composition of the various elements included and to details such as colour and illustration. I take immense pride in all my pieces. These are produced with the idea of being framed and hung as works of art. Due to individual monitor settings colours may appear slightly different. In person they are vibrant, rich and true to the original.
